My very first computer was a BBC Micro when I was around 5 years old, and I used it to play games (which back then were all stored on 5 1/2″ floppy disks). Throughout primary school I was always good with computers, and it seemed like a natural progression to learn how to code. I started learning coding when I was around 11 years old, starting with HTML (with my sites being hosted on MSN Groups and then Geocities), and moving on to various other languages (including a brief stint of Visual Basic when I was 13). Since then I’ve graduated from the University of Nottingham (Computer Science BSc), climbed some mountains and worked on plenty of interesting projects, some of which can be seen here.
I now live in Nottingham with my girlfriend Jenni, two housemates, and three very spoilt cats. You can find me hanging out on Twitter, coding, and eating banoffee pie. My hobbies include archery, scuba diving, judo, reading, hiking and climbing.
